My guy-friend keeps saying that he doesn’t think I am pretty, talking shi**

In our class, since my classmates are all students working towards highly prestigious universities, no one walks around with make up on. However after middle school, as I was already used to dolling myself up , it didn’t take long before I became noticed. My guy friend even told me that in his class, people say I look okay but he doesn’t see what they see. He kept spewing nonsense so I told him several times that I did not care about what he felt about me. But he kept insisting that he doesn’t know if I am pretty or not. He has been at it for weeks, it is getting annoying, like who asked?!

                                      • [+567] [-4]

ㅋㅋㅋㅋ He is doing that because he likes you, just trying to make himself special.  Just ignore him and whenever he goes at it, just tell him “I will only date people who find me pretty, zip it and I do not care about what you think.”. Push him to the side.

                                      • [+415] [-2]

He may want to ruin your self-esteem regarding your looks. He is 100% interested in you. React very nonchalantly and don’t put much thought to it.

                                      • [+397] [-2]

Ask him if he is gay or whether he is afraid and jealous that you are going to snatch the boys.
